How to begin?
OK, I've got a Shamal 16h wheel with a Pista high flange hub, but because it laced madly, I've decided to use a proper road dedicated 16h hub and put some gears on the bike.
Now, I found a hub which supposedly is a Chorus one. Guy who sold it said, that it's a 9 speed one. When I inspected it I found out, that the newer 9 speed cassettes will not fit, because they have differently spaced notches and of different shape. This freehub is bit wider and has even spacing. Is it 8 speed one or there are some older 9 speed cassettes?

If it's the 8 speed, then I need new crankset and ergo levers...
