True, it does look a bit suspect. I couldn't find any further info. Probably one of those one-offs by a builder to showcase their skills.

well it definitely looks like it'll do that!
there's got to be a better way of doing it though surely?

The reason i hate this thread is because i have no idea what to do to my little bike now....so many ideas, colours, configurations....
But the reason i like it is because it's the first page i found on this site :D

You see, to me this just looks like snot. Colours make it look cheap (i'm sure it's not) and I can't really see anything appealing.
I do wonder sometimes - if the same frame had Muddy Fox on it or some other low to mid-range bike name, would you still spill some of your man mayonaise on the keyboard?
A good question. It depends what decals Muddy Fox had all over it. I like the small details, and I guess 1/2 of the fact is the brand, and the fact that you know it'll be well made and last. But an interesting point none the less. Branding is a big part of any product.

Gotta love Mavic gruppos.
I have the same Mavic crank on my TT bike (55/44) with 23/11 on the back. Its a beauty.
I will avoid posting a picture here for fear of retribution.

i too am scared of the repost vigilantes. Too afeared in fact to risk posting this picture i've stumbled upon of a rare one-off collaboration between Yoshiaki Nagasawa and Yoshi Kono that was unearthed recently in a basement flat collection in new york, which according to the New York Times resembled 'bicycle heaven'. There is no downtube, fork crown or bottom bracket, instead a lugged, one-piece component serves all three functions. it is truly breath-taking, "a symphony of steel and love" in the words of Lance Armstrong ... but could it be a repost? I daredn't risk posting it in case it is.

Be brave and stand tall. If it is a repost then so be it. The worst that could happen is that we'll tell you that it's a repost.
It's like tearing off a plaster - once done you wonder what all the fuss was about, now get on with it soldier.

well, i'm not sure, oh, go on then, here it is, the rare collaboration bike...it's pretty highly polished, and what with all the pap flashguns going off around it as it was wheeled out of the dingy basement i'm not sure some of the amazing lug work and decal details are all that clearly visible.... but if you squint you can just about make out the colnageli in the background.. that one's a collaboration between colnago and cinelli... amazing isn't she.... a real beaut!! such craftsmanship. -
