I don't care whether MCR decides world teams (well, I like that having MCR do it is simple!), but, being pragmatic, I'd like to point out:
Results come from MCR regardless. It gives a ranking of teams in the UK (who played at this tourney, which is most of them). Regardless of the MCR organizers' opinions, this ranking exists. Unless there is another tournament at some point that acts as a qualifier, or some other method is come up with to choose teams, then the results will be the best way of knowing which teams we should send.
Just saying, not taking a position.
