...so can anyone explain how Westminster Council's policy of taking away barriers to stop ped's walking out into the street (e.g. outside Great Portland Street Station)... or flattening the height difference between roads and pavements so there's no kerb (e.g. Shaftsbury Ave) is going to result in less accidents between cars/bikes/m'bikes and peds/children/animals ???
