'These bikes are very attractive looking, they are particularly popular with females, most of these cycles are from the 1960s 1970s, so most are around 30-40 years old. Most have just a couple of gears, high and low that dont do much! These bikes are quite hard to pedal and are not like modern day mountain bikes with their chunky tyres and copious amount of gears and responsive brakes. A good level of fitness is needed to maneuver these bicycles and expect squeaky brakes! The majority of these bikes have steel wheels, as alloy wheels wernt invented back then! On many the chrome on the wheels starts to peel off and is left with surface rust, so I give the wheels a spruce up by spraying them with silver paint.
