Mine went missing for about 10 days when I lived in Dalston. We put up some posters, and someone called - he'd leapt along window ledges and got into a posh place about 6 doors down the street. The grumpy old bastard still felt obliged to take the £20 reward (I was obviously struggling on the dole), so I didn't try to hard to stop Elmore knocking over some expensive looking ornaments as I tried to get him the fuck out of there.
He'll be holding up better than you probably. I was a mess when Elmore went AWOL, but he seemed unmoved by the whole experience :D
