Living in euroland, I wire my bikes up as the euros do. Rear to right lever and vise versa.
When I put the fixed together it seemed logical to mount the front brake lever (dont have a rear) on the right. As its my best hand, and its the onestil holding the bars when I'm signaling.
It's funny you said that. My right is my best hand too, but I use it more often while cycling - and driving for that matter. Some people would say, that the RHD is a better option, because your stronger hand is on the steering wheel while your left is on the gear stick. I still catch myself holding the steering wheel with left (especially when I drive automatic). The same with bikes.
Perhaps it's something to do with the sides of the brain?
Most people would use their right eye when aiming the riffle. I use left one. I wouldn't have a carrier in the army, because the recoil will smash my face.
