Sweet, I'd be all over that for weekend winter jaunts through the hills of Kent!
I'm not sure about the 3 bikes in the background though... -

Found this at my local amenity site on Saturday. You will hate it , It will have lots of gears when restored to it's former glory.

lol clockwork orange!
Is there a trick to getting these from tips or something? I've been to ours and they tell me they're not allowed to let me take anything, I've tried playing the green recycling card but they don't want to know, all frames and bikes they have are destined to be mashed and it seems that's all there is to it. =/

Right place etc., which is nice as it's normally the other way round.

This is what happens on millionaires' island. In ten years time Douglas tip will be full of unfashionable Geekhouse bikes. Sadly bereft of brakeholes...

Douglas is a tip, when were you last here? Also I think it may be alot longer than 10 years before most people over here have heard of bikes with fixed gears. It clearly won't fit in with their BMW/high street designer fashion lifestyle.

I always wanted an Orange Clockwork when I was riding MTB in the early '90's. Good work on bringing them back with the same colourway!

I always see frames & complete bikes at the tip, trouble is all the Polish & Russians claim them before everyone else gets a look in :(

Rather than start a new thread I what are lo pro's like to ride. Are they comfortable? I have the opportunity to get one at a good price but am worried by the back breaking angles!

yeah some people do have all the luck....
i've only found a 1978 '531 Claud Butler' complete bike, and a '1935 New Hudson' sports tourer also complete now in the National Cylce Museum in Wales.

I found quite a few bikes in skips and piles of garbage here in copenhagen...
a beautiful green 531 7-speed 105 touring-bike with drops and downtube-shifters.. almost perfect condition, a long john (google it), various crap frames (including a new never build-up 7005 road-bike frame). + various parts.. lots of tires, new and used. -
• #44
Top tip - don't Google 'Long John' if you're still at work...
-
• #45
hah.. google long john bike then :)

Why the fuck, would you raise some mega old thread from the dead, just to say something as mundane and SHIT as that?!
aarrhhh!
The worst thing is how painfully obvious it is that you're just some impatient moron trying to get out of the nursery.
