I liked the game that we played at newington once.

4 players - 4 goals
you have to defend your own net and score on other players. Make alliances, betray eachother etc

swap bikes
just regular polo but when you shout swap bikes you all have to swap bikes

mallet throwing
you can only score by throwing your mallet at the ball. All mallet throwing is encouraged
