Couldn't believe mij I eyes when I thought to have to do with Mafac brakes on first sight, it was not Mafac but Shimano Dura Ace. Never known Shimano made centre pull brakes. I found out that these brakes must be made in 1973. The only year in the seventies the Dura Ace centre pulls were produced by Shimano.
The brakes come from a barrelbike, Girardengo (??), who can give me more information and, who knows, some pics of this rare Italian brand.

I am sure they are legit, I can see the picture. however a sale if not cash in hand...well...think twice.

What seemed to be a Mafac brake set on first sight, proofed out to be, when I looked better, Shimano Dura Ace Center Pulls! Never kwown Shimano made ever center pull brakes. I found out that these brakes must be made in 1973, the only year Shimano made this amazing brake set. I found the brakes on a Girardengo, a very small and unkown Italian brand.
But I can do nothing with these beautiful brakes. So I will sell them to a collectioner or for your vintage bike.
