Cheaper to do it right first time though innit?
Fine- you have an electric cooker, but nothing to stop you getting plumbed for gas so the when it needs to be replaced/a new owner wants to bin it then it can be easily.
Given the terrifying costs of electric central heating vs gas you might be able to get a powershift allowance/grant?
I know they used to contribute £1,000 to convert a car to LPG and similar escapades.
