Yep, you're right, we did say that last year. I think there's a bigger picture thing here, and we need to look at how BIG tournies worlds/continental are qualified for, and potentially a larger body (HBPFed?) can work out some guidelines (not rules) for how these qualifications should work. But I don't think that discussion is for here. Lets talk about it another time.
I think I should hold my hand up here, because had I done any work at all on preparing the way for a national organisation, we might have been in a better position to deal with this.
On that note, perhaps -we- I could get something together at the UK Champs.
Which begs the question:
if we were to do this (organising qualification for the Euros and Worlds) again, what would we do different?
Or perhaps a better question is:
what is the best place to discuss these questions?
