Looks like a good idea. Could also run two (or three if room?) cogs on there for those that want to change gearing, and have long track ends.
Main benefit being adjustable chainline.
Need to make sure wide base singlespeed cogs were used though as the thinner ones may be dodgy for fixie skidder types as they always left quite a mark on freehubs when I used thin cogs.
