75%?!? frankly the number of 'nutters' on the road is very small, if i were you, when it time for you to go home, check how many cars give you enough room when overtaking, and I guarantee you that there's a lots.

it's only the 'nutters' that we somehow managed to remember and forget the courteous drivers easily, thus giving us the impression that it's 'mad' out there on the road, or 'on the street'.

if you see thing negativity, you will see bad drivers everyday, if you see thing positivity, you will see good drivers everyday, I highly recommend you to do the latter, cycling is much more enjoyable and less dancing james that way.

Remember, the last thing a motorists want is to have is a confrontation with another road user, most of the time they just want to get home/to work.

Well said, unfortunately even though most drivers drive in a perfectly acceptable manner, people tend to just focus on the bad drivers. As I have said many times before, and will probably say many times again, I come across a significant number of completely inept cyclists too, but no one else seems to complain about them so much.
