Hi, I have a steel Cinelli track frame that I would like to classify.
Who is in the know?
It unfortunately been resprayed by the previous owner.
But I can offer the following information:
Small chips offer no evidence of chrome on the crown, lugs, stays nor forks.
It does not have the 3 hole lugs
All lugs have a single hole
The very long leg of the crown inside the forks have no holes.
No engraved logo on top of the crown.
Typical square recess cut out at top of seat post stays for post clamp bolt
Dropouts are Campagnolo
The BB is not cut, ordinary and no nipples. It is stamped with 4 numbers on the bottom circumference of the non drive side. Across the BB (running crank to crank direction) is faint evidence of additional stamping but the paint may be obscuring more (not sure): "+C..?"
Still has original metal headbadge (aged, therefore not sure which metal) and this badge is screwed on with two screws lt and rt.
So the Q's: approx which year? What type model A(superpista), B or C(riviera)
Perhaps someone knows of a great directory that I haven't found yet.
(pls dont flame me if I've posted in the wrong place)
