  • I am on the hunt for a big freewheel after failing to win that one on ebay. If anyone spots anything give me a shout. Ta.

  • Get a few peeps together and order some of these

Yep, I had an ACS Claw as my first freewheel on the sword, it was £3.49 on ebay, it lasted all of 3 weeks.

  • BLB has some random 22t for £6 but the fella said you get what you're paying for.
I believe he was suggesting they were shit.

  • BLB knows nothing of freewheels. In their opinion, they're all shite ;)

  • I've been using a cheap Dicta freewheel for all of autumn/winter and it still works. It's no White Ind. but it still moves my bike and coasts when I want it to.

  • But is it big?

  • Ooo oo missed one! :

;1287238']I've been using a Dicta freewheel

I use my finger like everyone else! Boom tish!

Oh no wait, that's Dictaphone isn't it. Taxi!

  • But is it big?

    20t

Get that 22t from blb, it'll at least give you a taste of better polo.

  • Max, got any more pics of your new frameset?

I know you're not really a 'take photos and post it on tinternet' kindof guy... but I wanna seeE!

  • ooooohh - thanks.
did you do the forks aswell?

    EDIT (longest steerer evar!)

  • i brazed the dropouts into the forks, but he wanted to weld the forks for "insurance" reasons?! weird considering i should be liable if they crack and i made them!?

anyway im gonna throw the BKLYN forks on

  • Good work.

Looks like the rear bosses are set for 700c..?
Definitely not planning a move to 26"?
I suppose you could always weld some more on... amiright!

  • yep yep 700c, as you say could just move them down for 26"!

  • BLB has some random 22t for £6 but the fella said you get what you're paying for.

    How many they got Dan?

  • ????

    ????

I believe he was referring to getting his third post, so he could move out of the nursery..
    tut-tut

  • ryanmccaig = Canadian Ryan (ex Moving Target). Got a message from him yesterday. He's back in London and looking to play some polo.

  • anyone need cranks?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Onza-T-Bird-Crankset-Trials-With-Ring-bash-165mm-new_W0QQitemZ350322724976QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR?hash=item5190dc9070

well the bashguard is on its own bolts so i would imagine they are 110 & 74. so you'd easily get a 36-38 on the outside, and you can get 74 in 24-36

I got one, they infact compact mtb cranks, and the 165 length is really a 170 with the hole drilled 5 mm closer to the hub... Shouldn't be a problem... Anyway, now I'd like a 27 or 29t 58bcd ring, can't find one, anyone got any suggestions? found a 26 that would do, but an odd number would be better!

  • If anyone is looking for a cheap decent rigid mtb fork:
