thing is i'd love to connect my uber nice headphones to the TV, but it doesn't have a headphone jack!! i mean wtf ?
never seen that before,
so instead it has an optical output, for which i have nothing to connect it to.
Silly to the power of infinite... bastards.
So yea, an amplifier with an optical input from the TV would in theory be ideal.
