The Boardman team, is not the same frame as the pro. It is made from a slightly lower grade carbon for a start. Porbably as least as good as the competition at the price point anyway though.
All the usual carbo suspects have been mentioned, plus there are a couple more.
All these are apparantly give a lot of 'bang for your buck'. They also have quite varied geometry, so just it should be a case of picking the one with the best fit. The Ribble Nero RC with a dedacciai frame, full Campag Veloce, and Khamsin wheels, (which won an award from Triathlon Plus) would be my personal choice
If you can stretch to around £400 more you can start thinking about the versatile world of titanum.
