Wanted: Fixed beater - max £175

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to find a fixed wheel bike for commuting on, so it can look like a heap of crap (as a thief deterrent that's actually a bonus) as long as it rides nice.

Bonus points for brakes (I'm a cissy), flat pedals and a medium-ish sized frame (I'm 5' 9").

Any one got an unwanted bike like that?

I think it's just unlikely that someone will have a complete fixed bike for sale, especially without putting it up for sale on the forum. You'd be better off sourcing all the parts and building one up. It's hard to build up a beater though; you'll soon be eyeing up shiny bits and deep-section rims and track drops and lo-pro frames and and and...

I too am after a beater to ride down to the local swimming pool and back to help build up my legs. Ideally black or white (although anything considered) and prefer flat bars. I am 5'11 but like my seat high. Would your bike suit? Could you post the price your after and any photo's if you have them if your still selling. I would however need it posting or get it collected by a courier as i live out of the area.
