People hoping to get tickets for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics can register online from today.
Signing up does not guarantee a ticket but registers users for a public ballot for 75% of the tickets, which will go on sale next spring. Sports fans who register will have their interest noted and get updates on venue test events, competitions and ticket availability.

Tickets don't go on sale until 2011, but this means you can get information on sports relevant to you (namely: cycling)
