eBay and Craigslist finds

i was the winning bidder in an ebay auction the other day for an old bicycle and then i recieved an email from the seller a few days after saying

"please dont pay for the item."

when i asked if he had been offered more money he sent an email back saying

I listed the bike somewhat reluctantly as I needed to raise some capital, however since the auction's end I have decided I want to keep it and restore it as planned. Call it an attack of guilt. I felt bad selling something I'm very fond of. That is the truth, I've not been offered any extra for it.
