Cheap front Shamal Clincher, 700c... 13 quid pickup only near London. Damn I want... 5hrs to go

You got absolutely mugged mate!!
£85 for EACH rim, £80 for a wheel build!?
And to include 'build' costs in your final value fee is well out of order!
Cycle surgery build cost is £45 per wheel.
Ceramic Open pro SRP is over £80 per rim. What he payed is perfectly reasonable, and if anything he got the spokes at a very good price.

Mavic Open Pro | Ceramic | 32 |in BLACK 2x £85 £170
Dura Ace Hubs £200
Sapim CX RAY aero £145
Build cost 2x £40 £80Hope that will help your math
Split it apart and the sell it. Perhaps you will recover the cost.
Panie Majewski, once you take something out of the box, lubricate it and screw onto another taken out of the box and lubricated part, then it becomes used and therefore it depreciates. Tough luck...

Now that is a straight lie.

again @m-majewski
The fact that your costs are vastly exaggerated, shouldn't detract from the fact that your buy it now price is still higher that the inflated new price of each component part added together?

So basically, you can buy all of these parts at RRP, pay a shop to build it all up and still it's cheaper than this pimp's ebay job.
Good stuff.

Would you buy an assembled Ikea furniture off someone else and pay more than in the shop?

Finally someone who know what the real prices on the market areDon't thank me. Your BIN price is a fucking piss take. I'm just defending how much you payed for your bike, as you clearly didn't do any shopping around to find anything cheaper than RRP.
Market value for resale doesn't correlate to how much you payed at all. Sad, but thats the way it is.
Wise up, drop the price.

m-majewski's m-magic p-price f-fixing w-wiggle...
I preferred the number disrupting £999 raleigh man. He was much nicer, and what he lacked in his way with numbers, he more than made up for with his cheeky humour and fondness for hobnobs.

I just don't understand why people are so angry about the price.
If you don't like it, you feel its too high don't worry you don't need to buy. -
• #23722
maybe something to do with the fact you're trying to rip someone off?
I'm sure nobody here will be buying it so you needn't worry, but you are open to about £1500 pounds worth of abuse. -
• #23723
ok so you think that I should sell a new bike that I payed £2000for for £500 below is the frame price and does this look better now?
only the frame costs £700
Who is taking a piss here???!!! -

Why should have to add the labour to a second hand fucking bike?
-
• #23725
A friend of mine, who runs a very successful bike shop, has a rule of thumb on second hand bikes which says you'll get half what you paid for it.
If you think you're going to make a profit then dream on sunshine.
