Got this for £80 in the Berghaus store January sale. It's really good quality, waterproof, breathable and warm enough... but wouldn't say it's great for riding per se, as it's not a cycling jacket. The hood doesn't rotate with my head, and doesn't fold away when I don't need it. There is no bum pocket and obviously the side pockets are fairly useless when riding. The chest pocket is big enough for a mini A-Z, phone etc (it's about 5cm deeper than the grey hem thing you can see). I find it a bit too bulky and busy for riding to be honest, especially with a heavy bag. I would've got it in XS if available like my previous Berghaus simpler affiar.
Summary: if it was tighter-fitted, with a small roll-away hood, less dangly adjuster cord things, and maybe no side-pockets but one on the bum... it'd be great for riding. As it stands, I find it great for walking around in the rain. The hood has a stiffened peak and the collar has a soft flap to cover the cold metal zip against your chin. And some bloke outside a pub said I looked like a spaceman.
its made of aquafoil (berghaus' own shitty waterproof fabric) automatic fail in my book.
