Oliver, sorry to hear (late as usual) about your injury. On the bike side of things, I once saw a guy with one arm doing a London to Brighton ride. He had both brake cables going into one lever and the front changer was mounted 'old stylee' on his down-tube. He was going up a steep hill at the time! Amazing!
