  • Owenreed + A.N.Other (sorry couldn't tell) cycling back in the rain from Wests, along Lower Richmond Road. I was in a taxi from the airport heading home...saw what looked like a fixed gear out the window, then as driving past was thinking "I wonder who that is...no it can't be...is it really...yeah it is him!"...but had already left you in a cloud of exhaust fumes by the time I thought I could poke my head out the window and jeer appropriately ;-)

  • I don't usually leave at 9! this morning was as early as I've got out, and that must have been 9.10 ... so yeah, I'll keep an eye out. I try to do the DP sat ride about once a month to keep my eye in, I'll let you know when I'm out next. however, I reckon the track's the safest place to ride at the moment given all the holes in the road!

  • ok, could be totally off the the mark with this one but I keep seeing a familiar face in the duke of argyle on dean street at lunch time. flat cap, beard, jean jacket... saw him today... could be wrong... are you from here?...

  • more likely to be able to identify them if you know what bike they ride!

  • yes, true. I'm just sure I've seen them in a photo on here or something... to be fair I just had a five pint lunch so it could be anybody...

    apologies, as you were...

  • This morning I saw El squire on his BMX, good going sir and keep the good work up.

Then got shouted at by the lovely illy and stelle, nice to see you.

  • think i saw corny multi-groves this morning but on a black (racist) mountain bike with skinny tyres

  • joeslain, i didn't know you played the piano! haha.

Does remind me, I saw someone with a German Sheperd style dog tucked under their arm, cycling along Horseferry rd a few evenings back

that's pretty fucking impressive, they're not small dogs!

spotted a dude pushing two bikes past the castle (on green lanes). one was chrome with no saddle, both with drops, i hope you were just taking a bike to a mate and not thievin! heh.

later, saw a dude stood at the lights by the castle, on't phone. white bike, bullhorns.

i was the shovel-wielding lass in the castle garden.

followed a guy on a fuji track down lordship road on my way home too, sorry if i was in the way/badly positioned.

  • charlotte street, white arrospok front, white b43 back.. oi oiii!

  • Mr Grooves again on Tower Bridge this morning, this time with a fully working bike.
Oh and a guy on a beautiful converted purple and bright pink Klein I keep seeing on my commute, never get close enough to see if its fixed or ss, nearly caught you up today in Clapham but got caught at the lights. You have a brown brooks saddle and have either a camo bag or camo shorts and wear a lid. Sir, your bike is fucking lovely.

That bike is quality... pass it every morning trafficking through Vauxhall

  • I keep seeing that middle age slim guy wearing proper cycling apparel on a beautiful red/chrome geared Merckx. Judging by the route he can be either from L-stone or somewhere like Wansted or Woodford.

    Lovely lovely bike.

  • think i saw** corny**** multi-groves** this morning but on a black (racist) mountain bike with skinny tyres

You mean you saw a non-descript black guy on a black bike. Classic! :-)

ps. MG mentioned the mountain bike the other week, so yes, maybe.

  • no, he's not non-descript he is cornygrooves. He is what would happen if you genetically combined Corny and MG - several have now witnessed him, and the hunt to identify him continues.
Face of Corny, build of MG - seriously it's uncanny - I see him at least 2-3 times a week, we are now passing friends who smile and nod to each other - but that only came about because I kept staring at him whenever I passed him thinking it was actually Corny(although I knew he was in Japan) or MG. Dammit saw him in Monmouth coffee this week. We're getting close guys..

  • Nurseholiday being a drivenger on holloway road yesterday at about 11am, you shouted something at me but I had no intention of slowing for anything at the point. Howdy my friend.

  • Portobello Rd, 10 am, chrome bianchi pista, white spok and white prison bars.....

  • Nurseholiday being a drivenger on holloway road yesterday at about 11am, you shouted something at me but I had no intention of slowing for anything at the point. Howdy my friend.

Howdy. I only shouted your name....! I knew it was you as soon as I saw the hat and pink frame go past me. The gold brakes confirmed it.

  • A Pearson with pink rims in the shithole that is Croydon.

  • ^ Juicy Couture?

  • I think I may have seen Pip, in some part of west london whilst I was stuck in traffic, he was busy braklessing to a stop up the arse of a moped

  • Black Dolan, red rim on the front, bare bullhorns, owner in rolled up jeans. Don't worry - I was keeping an eye on you bike locked outside the Leytonstone Tesco :-) Two guys who came in a van were checking it out. One non-descript, grey jacket and the other one wearing white decorator's overalls.

  • ha!

  • Don't worry, I've already called them...

  • the guy with LUKE CHEESEMAN: WAGWANBREDRIN
