Last minute rides

I have site meeting for work in East Molesey (out past Richmond Park) at 9.00am on Wednesday morning (27/01/10)

Will be leaving Ally Pally about 7.00 heading via regents park, hyde park, putney, Richmond Park, Kingston, Bushey Park East Molesey and heading back to the West End after meeting at about 9.30-9.45.

Will be about 35 miles mostly flat.

Maybe ambitiously late notice but nonetheless fancy a night ride tonight, i don't know my way around London so it will be aimless, fast cruising. Give me a buzz if you're up for a ride.

I've been in work today catching up on stuff I couldn't do last week and I've now got cabin fever.

It's stopped raining and I need to go for a bit of a spin anyone want to join me? Will be heading out from Highbury in about 30min.

Erm on a more mundane note. Anyone for Regents Park laps apres work today? I could also be persuaded to do some dark Richmond Park laps if anyone knows for sure the cull has finished?

Well I done 2 very slow laps of Vicky park, got bored and thought I'd pop by the pub to see if anyone was there. There was no one there:-(. As I left for home, Dicki turned up and we had a few pints before any of the east 1 or 2 turned up.

I dont understand how people go to Vicky park and do laps, its barely a mile long!

Around 45 of us are meeting at Richmond Green opposite Richmond Underground Station next Saturday 27th March at 9.30am to cycle 45 miles to Reading along the Thames Valley - anyone keen? There are free t-shirts up for everyone taking part - will post details tomorrow. The route will be signposted all the way.

Route maps, stop-points, sign-posts, the whole shebang! I just joined the forum so can't post until 24 hours later. It's a charity cycle called The London to Haiti Challenge, organised by my company (Elliott Wood) and we're falling short of our target of 95 people required for signing up for the event. It's organised in conjunction with RedR (an international charity) for helping people in Haiti. You'll probably struggle to get money raised in time (we've actually got about £2k raised already - but you're more than welcome to do so), but we'd appreciate cyclists joining us for the day to help reach our total anyway. We're looking to cumulatively cycle the distance from London to Haiti (4400miles) between us. Crazy huh?

I'll be doing a 30-40ish miler tomorrow night starting from near Marble Arch Tower. Starting around 1am (Okay, so it's technically Friday Morning).

TNRC reccy. 14h06 from Kings X. £8 cheap day return. Approx 30 miles steady. Lycra + Belgian booties. That sort of thing.
