ridgeback something-or-other. has 26" on atm, with some sweet tires, really wide, and slick.

If you are desperate to get rid of it, I will come and pick it up off you. I won't use it for polo but it looks like a fun bike.
*obviously if someone wants it for polo then they should have it.

Was wee scots I think?
-
• #7
Man, that thing looks like wicked fun.
-
• #8
I would use it exclusively for polo olympics.
-
• #9
with raiser and brakes that will be a blast
-
• #10
Could it be used as an emergency spare for the euro qualis if time is tight or is that a stupid idea?
-
• #11
good idea but everyone has completely different set ups, plus the dude said it doesn't work, rims are bent and brakes not working on a freewheel.
-
• #12
you could probs still jump over logs and stuff though.
-
• #13
no offence but that polo bike looks gash. snoops seems like the obvious choice.
-
• #14
Yes!
-
• #15
will reply in a min snoops
-
• #16
Yeah, it'd fly over both logs and stuff. Only just noticed that stem setup though after Ray's gash comment. Got to be good for free though.

nice!
another tankbike Mike? -
• #21
Definitely a tank. It may be too small for me, still have to dial it in. Played a few games tonight on it and I really like (and definitely notice) the solid feeling.
Also, +1 to V-brakes. Wow they're strong! -

what was wrong with the orbit? just fancied a change?
-
• #23
Nothing and yep.
Orbit is fine, still rides exactly how I like it. I just wanted to see what 26" wheels were all about for polo. This bike may not stay with me but I may be a convert... -
• #24
oh yeh, 26 is the shit now right?
i can't keep up, i got my bash guard and my v brake.

hahahaha
Hey,
been meaning to give this away for ages, but haven't got round to it.
had this for a while, was given to me for free, on the condition i give it away for free when i'm done with it, and i am. haven't really got the time to play polo, so not being used.
since i received it it has had an overhaul of sorts and been repainted baby blue, the velo libre is cuz i got it free, hence, thus etc etc. taken to bits, everything regreased, deurailler that was tensioning the chain has been replaced with an old dmr sts that i had lying around. new brake cable. stuff like that. the brake is on the rear atm (it is s/s not fixed), but both wheels are pretty damn buckled so brake power is poor to non existent in its current state. with a mega truing of the wheels it would be good to go.
pix attached.
free to whomever will pick up (hampstead, nw3) a bike that is freewheel and effectively nobraks™
