Matt, could you or anyone else describe rules of alleycat briefly? I'm no new to the idea of stupid collection racing around the city (more woods than city, in fact) but as we didn't call them races "alleycats", I presume there can be some subtle differences in rules.

For the start, what is considered a "point"? And how do you progress with them - you have a whole list from the start or part of it or get next one upon reaching current or what?

Pasha, they all vary really. It's a bit of a stretch calling this an Alleycat really. I mean it's Cambridge, it's hardly New York or London. The way we did it last time we had a map with a number of checkpoints which you can visit in any order but you have to go to them all. Once you've been through all of them you go back to the start and we take down your time.

I sent you a p'm saying I would be more than happy to help out because I'm not sure I want to race!

Yeah totally, I've got a small first prize but other than that nothing... except of course the reputation of being Awesome Champion Spring 2010.
