Wanted: A Big Road Bike with Gears

Looking for something 8,9 or 10 Spd in a 61/62cm or XL size:

Steel preferable
Fully built or there abouts
No shagged bits, must be fully functional and in good nick
Willing to post it to me if I can't get to view it
105/Ultegra/Record level of bits
Well built strong wheels
Not fussed about weight

Pics would be great of what you have to sell

Don't get loads of geared road bikes for sale on here.

+1 for ebay, it took several weeks, but i got a lovely steel large Brian Rourke with old dura ace on for a song there. You just have to keep looking.
Large frames aren't so popular so you might get a bargain like I did,

If you have time and a big (ish) budget, then eBay is definitely your best bet....

I have got a Carlton Carrera frame which is Reynolds 531 throughout. The frame size is 23.5” or 59cm, I’m 6 foot 1.83m and it is perfect for me. The frame has been professional repainted by Phil Insley who previous worked for Raleigh Special Products. The wheels are Mavic Cosmos and it has a Shimano 8 speed cassette although it will take a 9 speed one if required. The gear levers are Shimano 105 running on friction and not index, the front and rear mech are Shimano, the crankset is unbranded, the brakes are Campagnolo Grand Sport. The bike is in good working order the only issue is the rear adjuster screws, in the rear drop outs have broken but this doesn’t affect the frame or the bike. If you wanted these could be drilled out, Mercian charge £10 per side.
