this is a fucking bargain, by far the best compact around (if not quite compact enough)
£400 RRP, 340/350 seems to be the best prices i can find on google so £270 is an absolute steal, i already have one, otherwise id be buying one, as this went out on the ebay mailing list i doubt they'll last long, but there were 130 units left when i checked about 5 minutes ago... if your after a camera, i recommend you buy this. now.

no, the seller says argos clearance... i dont sell cameras, although i do buy lots of them. but i own a G10 and its a fantastic camera, as i paid full for mine like a week after they were released i didnt want forum folk to miss out on the bargain.

Anyone chuck in their G9 for a G10 and notice a significant improvement? I've got the older camera and love it - might be worth getting the G10 at this price though?

wider lens and better picture quality, better image stabiliser too, dont know if its worth upgrading if youve got a g9 tho, its still a pretty good camera

I have been eyeing a G10 myself. Funnily enough Canon have their own outlet/refurb store on ebay.

I might go for one of Argos clearance one instead, the auctioned items tend to end up around £300.
