Hey, I saw some of this blue stuff today in westferry. It was sitting on top of the existing green stuff. Fucking pointless exercise.
In Oz there are these things on the side of the highway... they are like little strips of raised paint that run perpendicular to the flow of traffic. When a vehicle runs over them, they make an audible noise and you feel a vibration in your arse, which is quite nice. They are designed to wake drivers who drift off to sleep on the long boring stretches of road there. Never driven highways here so dont know if they exist.
Wonder whether them things should be on the edge of the bike lanes.
