  • I tried and you cant, it wont let you submit it.

This bugged me to, but I did leave a note in the comment bit saying that I had never driven.

  • Done. Cheers.

  • done it and it looks like a useful questionaire i would be interested to see what the result of it is

  • Done.

  • Too many questions ... didn't bother in the end.

out of 150 other people, you couldnt quite manage this simple exercise, FAIL.

  • Done - its all about getting in front of the big lorry people

Do you mean you overtake and sit waiting for the lights to go green? Please don't do this; overtake only if you are going to get well in front of the lorry, otherwise you are sat right in a blind spot, the driver will never know you're there.

  • Exactly. I wrote that in the comments section too

The safest option is to approach it on the outside. jump the lights and carry on your way

RLJing is hardly safe, frankly it's always a better solution to just wait behind, and the chance of a lorry reversing during traffic is quite low.

if it does reverse in traffic and you're in the way, you're way too close to the lorry.

if he can't see the car in front of him, high chance he won't see you.

YouTube- lorry driver doesn't see car

There's 20 question, and that's too many?! God know how you do in your GCSE exam.

  • out of 150 other people, you couldnt quite manage this simple exercise, FAIL.

No. But you used to rarely make any sense when I used I did speak to you. I was tired when I spotted the survey and none of the questions I consciously think about while cycling and couldn't give a definitive answer ... so I decided not to pollute their data with inaccurate data.

  • There's 20 question, and that's too many?! God know how you do in your GCSE exam.

    3xAs, 5xBs and 2xCs ;-)

  • No. But you used to rarely make any sense when I used I did speak to you.

    Huh?

  • Done.

  • Huh?

    precisely.

  • Done

  • Done.

  • Was anyone else confused by the question:
'How many mirrors might a lorry driver have to check to see you'

Surely the answer 'might' be one? Only lorries registered after 2000 need to have three mirrors on the passenger side, and even then you might only visible in one. On the drivers side still only one mirror is required. If you are not in the viewing area of a mirror can that mirror be considered available to check to see you?

Or am i being a pointless pedant (again).

  • It mean how visible are you, how easy is it for a driver to see you, etc.

i.e. if it only take 3 mirrors for the driver to notice you, you're visible enough to be seen, if it going to take more mirror just to see you, you're less visible.

at least that what I understand from the question.

  • I assumed the question was asking how many mirrors does a lorry have that the driver needs to check, before he spots the one you can see him in?

Driver can only check one mirror at a time, 6 mirrors plus the road ahead = long time between looking in the same mirror twice.
