I take it you've been riding it on the road then? I've just sold my Alan, and have a bit of cash burning a hole. I don't really need another LoPro, but this is sorely tempting. I'm going to try and write down ten reasons not to buy it, and if I can't, I'll take it...

- I already have too many LoPros.
- I don't deserve a bike as pretty as this.
- I need to spend the money from my Alan on sensible stuff, not more bikes.
- Purple doesn't suit me.
- 23c tubs are useless on pot-holed country roads.
- £400 is a hell of a lot of money for a frame and forks.
- I still don't deserve a bike as pretty as this.
- It's from birmingham, and by riding it, I'll be riding Brummy it's ever been with.
- It's Dutch.
- I'd have to sell a bike to make room in the shed for it, and I don't want to sell anymore bikes.
- I already have too many LoPros.

Yes I have ridden it on the road and although the geo is blatantly agressive it handles perfectly well, just don't try and do backwards circles or any of that jazzy stuff because the toe overlap does not permit!

Oh and BTW - Tubs would work perfectly but are not a necessity. I always used clinchers on the road. The tyres pictured are labelled as 23c to give you some indication but like I said, fatter 23s like Gatorskins etc will not work - too chubby. I know, I thought all 23c's were the same too until I got this!

- It's Dutch.
Problem with that being?!
Excuse me, just a gulf of patriottism coming up..
Nice frame, and since I'm Dutch, have to agree on the lots o' monnay arguement..
- It's Dutch.

It's what I paid Rodolfo and I happen to think it's completely worthy of it, that said you are welcome to your opinion ;)
1989 Duell Track Pursuit Frame for sale. Pics of built bike added
Spec as follows:
Seat tube C-T = 62cm
Top Tube C-C = 57.5
Effective TT = Roughly 54cm/55cm
120mm rear spacing
27.2 Seat post
700c front and rear
British BB threads
Standard 1" Steerer tube
Completely Undrilled
Columbus SLX tubing throughout - very light.
Campagnolo track and fork ends.
Cinelli BB shell
Built in 1989 by Dutch manufacturer 'Duell' with the founder Jan Van Dalen's signature on the left side of TT.
Condition is good to very good. It has a few minor blemishes here and there but the paintwork is still top notch. As you can imagine the paint surrounding the dropouts is not in fantastic shape from having wheels taken out and put in but nevertheless the rest of the frame is stunning.
It has a lovely square profiled rear brake bridge and the Duell 'D' is also engraved into the seat stay caps and the shoulders of fork crown which are rather nice.
This is a proper track frame, so the clearances are tight and toe overlap is a given. On the front you will only get away with very low profile 23s or under, rear will take pretty much any 23c tyre but not bigger. I will throw in a tyre for the front that will get you going just incase you don't have one to hand.
Also comes with a Dura Ace NJS bottom bracket ( supplied but not fitted ) and a Shimano 600 headset.
Any questions please ask.
Dibs followed by PM.
Sorry, wheels and components are just for demonstrative purposes and are not included in the sale
