Peloton Superlites as Hilary says, are really nice to ride.
I'd have taken that bike to replace my old one if it were my size.

+1
My first bike was a peloton superlite. I actually really miss it, even with its sketchy gears and bent hanger (The rear mech once touched the spokes climbing out of the saddle, 10 miles from home. I will never forget that almighty crunch of bicycle doom.)
This one's just my size too. PLEASE someone buy it before me!

I realise the post advertising the Chrome Woodrup was a long time ago - but does anyone know where this went or any other details - in the mid 70's I owned a fully chromed Woodrup which was originally built for Hugh Smith for the national 50 championships, it also had the same dent in the down tube cause by the brakes.
Another identifying feature was the cutout under the bottom bracket which was filled with fibreglass to save weight - I think the frame was built from Columbus PL tubing.
I would love to discover if this is the same frame, I only remember selling it on to someone in the Gt Yarmouth Cycling club
regards
Mike

WOODRUP ROAD FRAME early 1970s all chrome
Seat Tube (ctt) : 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 55mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Britiah
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Woodrup road frames are really rather nice quality. This fully chromed frame is really rather rare - the chrome is in generally excellent condition and the frame has just one small dent visible in the photos on the down tube behind the head lug from a brake having come round and hit it. All chrome frames are very expensive because all the tubes have to have extensive polishing before the plating. This is really a very spectacular looking frame. £245
GIANT PELETON SUPERLITE BIKE c1993
Seat Tube (ctc) : 60cm (23.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C
Bottom bracket threads: British
Frame tubing: Giant 4130 double butted
Giant Peleton Superlite are really very nice bikes with really sweet handling and great build quality. When we tested one on Cycling Plus in 1992 all the test crew thought it had gorgeous sweet handling and was superb value for money. This example has been only very lightly used and comes equipped with Shimano RX100 gears and 700C wheels built with Wolber grey anodized clincher rims. Ready to ride. £149
FALCON ROAD FRAME c1988 Reynolds 453 tubing
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 50mm)
Bottom bracket threads: English
Frame tubing: Reynolds 453 tubing
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This is a good small road frame which is in very sound lightly used condition. An excellent frame for singlespeed or fixed conversion. £49
CIOCC ROAD FRAME c1988 Columbus
Seat Tube (ctc) : 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 45mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Italian
Frame Tubing: Columbus Aelle
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a very nice Ciocc road frame built from Columbus Aelle tubing. Its in excellent condition - the paintwork is beautiful with very few marks and the chrome is all very good except for a small patch on the nearside fork blade. A great frame with nice detailing. £95
DAWES JAGUAR ROAD FRAME 25in
Seat Tube (ctt): 64cm (25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57.5cm (22.75in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 50mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This frame is in nice original condition and is built with Reynolds 531 butted main tubes. It will make an excellent and easy conversion or used a road bike with gears. £59
FALCON ROAD FRAME c1980 Unused
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C (brake drop 65mm)
Seatpost size: 26.2mm
This Falcon road frame appears not to have been used - it certainly has never had wheels or a seatrpost mounted... It has a few shopwear marks but nothing of any real significance. Has horizontal dropouts so will make an easy budget conversion. £39
DAWES ROAD FRAME c1983
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C with 50mm brake drop
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Bottom Bracket Threads: British
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This Dawes road frame from the 1980s has been nicely repainted and not used since though there are one or two marks. Its built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing - certainly the main tubes. It has had most of its braze-ons removed - the ones on the top tube were a little messily down. If required it will make a very easy singlespeed or fixed conversion. £59
VIKING IAN STEEL c1954
Seat Tube (ctt): 61cm (24in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C (brake drop 65mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This is a nicely built Viking frame which is the Ian Steel model introduced to celebrate Ian Steel’s win in the 1951 Tour of Britain - it has very cool Oscar Egg lugs and has its original paint in very good useable condition. With horizontal dropouts it will make an easy conversion. £95
VAN HESTE ROAD FRAME c1992 Unused
Seat Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C with a brake drop of 45mm
Seatpost size 26.8mm
This is a rather nice Belgian made road frame which has never been used - I have found an excellent pair of road forks to go with it. It has a few shopwear marks but nothing serious. It is buolt I think from a good quality tubing possibly Columbus Aelle judging by the weight and seatpost size. I can fit a new Tange headset for £24. It will make an easy singlespeed or fixed conversion. £89
HOLDSWORTH PROFESSIONAL c1983
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.75in (55.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C with a brake drop of 43mm
Seatpost size 27.2mm
This is a Holdsworth Professional from around 1983 (the person I bought it from showed me pics of it before he had painted it) which has been quite nicely spray painted (I have a can that has a little left which I will include). These Holdsworth Pros are really rather nice road frames. It can be converted to singlespeed or fixed wheel use easily. £95
