I've never needed loctite on cleat bolts, in fact I go the other way and use copper slip to aid removal.
I use a low bond loctite to keep the threads clear and stopping any galvanic corrosion. I usually give the cleats a wiggle and a visual check to see i the bolts are loose. What else could/should I do?
