Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out some rather nice road frames most of which are suitable for singlespeed or fixed wheel use and a fascinating road bike equiped with some Shimano AX aero equipment. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. **
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

MOTOBECANE PROFIL 2 ROAD BIKE c1982
Seat Tube (ctc): 57cm (59cm ctt)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Motobecane Aero Profil tubing
This is a remarkably well preserved Motobecane aero roads bike from the early 1980s - it has Shimano Adamas AX brakes and hubs together with a Shimano chainset. Gears are Huret. The whole bike is in excellent condition with a very few minor marks to the paint. A great talking piece and very cool. £145 ono
TEAM BRITE MICRO LO-PRO TT FRAME Reynolds 853 c1998 built by Paul Donohue
Ex Chris Newton
Seat Tube (ctt): 44.5cm (17.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 853
This frame is an ex Team Brite micro lo-pro frame that was ridden by Chris Newton around 1998 and is beautifully built from Reynolds 853 tubing. Paul Donohue’s works built all the Team Brite frames and they employed a tig welder who was truly superb - in my opinion he was just as good as the tig welders at Merlin who I had seen working back in 1994. Its a really gorgeous frame which would equate to about a conventional 21.5 in road frame and is designed for use with a long aero seatpost and aero bars of course. It comes complete as shown in the photos with its original bladed carbon fibre forks. £195
CBT ITALIA ROAD FRAME c1994
Seat Tube (ctc): 49cm
Top Tube (ctc): 51cm
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
This is a rather unusual CBT Italia frame which uses a very distinctive fluted tubing. It is in excellent condition with almost unmarked paintwork and the long horizontal dropouts mean that it will make an easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £165
FRED WILLIAMS Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (23.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 50mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a nicely built Reynolds 531 double butted frame from the early 1980s - the paint is useable but a bit tatty. Has horizontal dropouts so will make an easy conversion. £59
CANNONDALE 2.8 ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 59.5cm 54cm (ctc)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Cannondale’s 2.8 series of road frames were very highly regarded in the early 90s - Cannondale had been one of the pioneers of of using oversize aluminium tubing to build light stiff frames in the 80s and with the 2.8 series took it a step further - the 2.8 name referred to the weight in pounds of the bare frame frame. This frame is in in very nice condition it has a couple of very tiny dings neither of which can be easily found and the paint is in excellent condition. £125
RALEIGH ROAD FRAME 1989 Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop of 45mm with 700C wheel)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This frame built by Raleigh in 1989 has Reynolds 531 butted main tubes. The paint is sound though it has lost its decals. It will make an ideal budget conversion. £54
BENOTTO
Seat Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 44mm
Wheel size: 700C
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This Benotto frame I think from around 1983 has been very attractively refinished in white and silver but with decals from a Belgian bike shop, Tomacc. It has some nice touches such as the heart cutout in the bottom bracket shell. Its probably built from Columbus Aelle tubing. It will make an excellent singlespeed or fixed conversion. £75
GEOFF WILES ROAD FRAME c1998 Columbus Nemo built by Omega NEW & UNUSED
Seat Tube (ctc) : 56cm (22in) (23in 58cm ct top of seat tube)
Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 48mm)
Bottom bracket threads: English
Frame Tubing: Columbus Nemo
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a very nice unused and unbuilt-up road frame (it was originally priced at £599 and the price ticket is still on the underside of the BB) which was built by Omega (Mark Joynt) from Columbus Nemo tubing. Columbus Nemo tubing was in the late 1990s Columbus’ top steel tubing with a wall thickness of just 0.4mm in the centre tube sections - seriously light and strong. This frame has a really beautiful paint job which has one or two very tiny insignificant marks. A bargain at £175
