When cycling with our kid my girlfriend has specifically banned me from letting him
ride in the road... Which basically means I've got to ride on the pavement. So spare a thought for those riding the pavement with children it is possible they don't want to be there!
Anyone except for children or adults with thier children should be very very wary of cyciling on the pavement, I think anyone discurtious whilst doing so should have a stick pushed into their front wheel.
