Interested in some pics mate sounds fairly Belgique at the moment;-)

  • that joe will be a hell of a frame...check mine out, it must be very similar.

  • MF managed to send me some pics of the JW a while ago (can't find them now) and I thought it was the nuts being 653 and only £125 as well as being built by a respected builder you can't go wrong really.

  • Tel and wingedangel...thanks for the kind words as Ivan has bought my JW

Then Ivan is a wise buyer indeed....

  • Then Ivan is a wise buyer indeed....

    Yay!
And I got a free Campag record headset and windy ride ride in Cambridgeshire thrown in for free:-)
Cheers for the frame and return to old training grounds MF, the Alps training meant it all looked a lot flatter than I remembered, sorry;-)
I took your advice and have put it in to for track ends and a respray, will post the results for your approval/dismay...

Dismay? No, pleased that it will be adapted to be fit for purpose....look forward to the pics...any thought on colour scheme?

No apologies your 6oo km must have helped you but i didn't feel outclassed...though you dropped me a bit on the last 'big' climb but i managed to get back on.

The tube had a small nick and is now happily repaired..even windier today!

So when will the return ride be? What you doing on Bank Holiday Monday?

    cheers for a lovely ride.

Yeah that Col De Gog Magog really pinches;-p
Thanks again for the run down memory lane.

As for the JW, I've gone for a classic BR Green (Yup, fashion victim I know!) with white boxing and world champ stripes.
Currently thinking Campag Pista CS, Mavic Open Pros, Cinelli 1A + Crits (have my originals:-)
Though might just forget all the classic crap, still to decide...
Will post pics when I have them.

It's a crying shame I couldn't hold onto the chrome, or afford to get it redone, but our chat about use 'fixed' the track ends in my mind, hence the respray.
I love my Audax bike so the JW is going to live on as a pure fixed and won't have to suffer any identity crisis.

Can't do the Bank holiday as I'm working on some pictures.
When I put the JW together we should go for a wobble:-)
