Cigars

I was interested in the Nubs previously, especially for a winter outside cigar, but the price put me off. As @forms, i too would be interested in a few rather than a whole box.

Those Nubs were quite talked about on a few of the American-centric cigar boards I belonged to. They have quite a dedicated following.

As far as the discontinued Diplos; no need to panic buy yet. HSA puts out a discontinued list each year and sometimes discontinues all of them and sometimes only one or two. There are a few on this years list that really shock me but we'll see if they're cut. Even if they are, the stock won't instantly disappear and for something like the Diplos, I imagine it would be 8-10 months down the line before there was any noticeable shortages in stock.

If I can make it to the shop Henry mentioned I'll keep a look out for good bits.

Cohiba Siglo II have arrived; get in touch to arrange collection. As of Tuesday I'm going to the States and then you will have to wait a couple weeks.

Checked out the La Casa del Habano on Wardour and had a chat with the guy. You can smoke inside and they have some lovely leather chairs to relax in while doing so.

There are only four chairs and while I was in there on lunch, two of them were occupied. I suspect that will likely always be the case. I would assume you would be obliged to buy something there as well, and while they have a phenomenal stock, the prices can be steep. They are open till 11pm everyday but Sunday as well.

I think it would be good for a very small herf; 3 people max. It would be fun but not cheap.

Yeah, i've been in a few times. Last time, a posh looking bloke was smokin a monster in there. Just really not worth it imo. Summer will roll around soon enough, and then we wont have to fork out for an over-priced cigar, in order to smoke our reasonably priced cigars in comfort!

I think Saturday is still up in the air with nothing decided. The weather looks rather poor for good smoking.

Hoping to organise more though and you are more than welcome to join. Keep an eye on the thread.

^will do, whole weekend weather looks a bit crap. Also just been informed I am on kiddie duties at 5pm so might not be able to make it if on.

harrong - nothings really planned for this weekend, the weather's definitely against us. But I for one am up for a session next weekend...so watch this space, details will be posted as and when. Will be good to have you on board!

Cigars Unlimited are good if you want to smoke in store, comfy chairs, free coffee, and some good cigar mags/lit to read while your there

Can I just be around sniffing? Love the smell of cigars, opens up so many memories but have stopped smoking so the perfume is the only joy I have left.

You've probably already looked, but there was a guy on ebay selling a fair few tubes. Didn't look like there was much/any interest, so u could bag a bargain.
