Apparently Billy Bislands Cycles in Glasgow has one that the owner didn't want to sell for ages but now he does. Might be worth a phone call.

I've waited 2 years for a fillet brazed/lugged Holdsworth, will take you a while to find the one you want, that and check out hilary stone's topic.

As I told you the other day, Edscoble, they're called bilaminated joins, they're not 'fillet brazed / lugged'. And you're a lot more likely to find a claud butler (which is still bloody unlikely), as they were known for it. Have you seen many holdsworths with this detail?
Anyone looking out for path frames ought to keep in regular touch with aidy40 and 'grahaminlondon' as they seem to be pretty hot on this stuff.
And go to ripley with wads of cash and get there early.

Nice one for this advice. Also, where / who is Ripley?

Or just go to Graham's workshop in Archway. He has some lovely stuff amongst the organised chaos!

Sorry, dude. Should have quoted you. Was just adding a wee bit more info on how to find Graham. You could give him a call but I don't think he has his wares catalogued as such. Probably would be best just going there and having a rummage around. Piles and piles of frames.

My Holdsworth is a combination of fillet brazed/lugged, it got a lugged headtube while the rest is fillet braze, that why I didn't said it's bilaminated.

Naaah!

But, you really ought to get a nice shiny seatpost in there at least, I can tolerate the other modern-looking parts ... just.
-
• #16
Oh the seatpost is silver now, most of the component on it are merely there to complete the bike, just waiting and searching for some component that go with the frame (like campag seatpost).

good luck getting one of grahams nice frames from his collection

His name is Graham Drummond. Trades under Graham Drummond Bikes (I think). Don't know his exact address but the workshop is behind Richardson of Highgate (corner of Causton and Archway Road). A few yards north is a set of traffics lights and an entrance to the carpark behind Richardson's. It's in there.

I know this is a very old post but I have this Flying Scot Track frame for sale on eBay if anyone is still interested. I have put in with a low starting price...
and matching forks, from 50's early 60's, must be straight but cosmetically anything goes as long as it is not severely pitted, 57/60 cm ctc.....cheers
