Lidl specials: Bike hoist/storage

just a heads up that lidl are doing a roof mounted pulley system for £4.99 to hang your bike from the ceiling.

can't comment on product quality as i haven't bought one but for that price reckon some of you might be interested.

consists of two pulley thigamabobs that you screw to the roof and a cleat to tie off.

Two pulleys, a piece of 2x4, a cleat and some rope from DIY shop does the job too...

I bought 2 of these lidl pulleys sets. They are definitely worth the moneys.
What about the rest of the cycling stuff - any merino?

i see in the motorcycle section they are doing disk locks for £7 - worth a punt for your chainring for added security ?

and dont forget the plastic coated hooks that actually hold the frame.

Only if they're not padded..? They look good from that angle?

i tried one on and they are quite flexible but not sure how good your grip will be, knuckles will be well protected though
