don't say we never give you nothin'. if you still haven't picked up your tweeds for the ride, several companies are offering discounts for participants.
ds dundee is an east london-based luxury menswear label that uses fabrics from traditional uk mills. they're offering some great prices on aw2009/10 tweed suits, but they have limited sizes left.
farlows is a traditional english outdoor supplier on st james street. they have a range of nice, affordable house-made tweed suits for both men and women. they also sell fantastic shooting socks (the knee-high kind) and a things like caps and ties. they'll "take good care" of anyone who comes in and says they're from the tweed run, with a special discount.
walker slater is a more contemporary clothier with a store in parsons green (and one in edinburgh). they have a good range of tweedy delights. they're offering a 15% discount to anyone who comes in and says they're from the tweed run.
also keep an eye out for tweed run collaboration products, with special editions of products done in conjunction with brooks, dashing tweeds, ds dundee, h huntsman & sons, quoc pham, rapha, and a few others...
