But why would you ever need a triple in Holland?

thanks. i got it here in holland, i'm not sure what model it is. i suspect a 'due' because it's quite understated, without all the wild panto stuff

about the triple - haha, that came with it when i bought it and will come in handy as I'm planning to go up mt Ventoux late summer, and before that there's the ride Fruit mentioned (there's some climbs in that one that will have you fall off your bike if you don't get in the correct gear before the corner that leads up to it) and of course some more training in the Ardennes, Vosges and Alps before that :)
