Washed my Giordanas on 30degs in a pillowcase, with Fairy detergent. The label says wash cold, but sod that, cold water never cleaned nuffink.

I just bung em in the wash with all my other dirty shit. They're fine so far. If my bibs cant handle a bit of washing, I dont trust em with my gooch.

+1 balki.
+1(in the washing machine, 30 degrees, with other sports gear, bio or on bio depending on stains, smells or shite levels)

Be careful when washing merino wools with any bibs with zips, my new base layer now looks like it has been ravaged by some very large moths.
Pillow case or delicates bag ftw.

Hey, whats all this bio/non bio business you guys have over here?
I know bio has some bugs in it or something?
-

Every time I used the little Assos bag, the shorts would escape in the wash. So now I just throw them in. Normal washing liquid, which is the one the missus buys that gets the blacks blacker than black. And then an occasional wash with Win(TM) liquid if they're more manky than usual.

bio has enzymes balki. not bugs.
difference of scale.
-
• #34
Why would I want enzymes?
-
• #35
Conversely, why would I prefer my detergent to be free of enzymes?
-
• #36
you'd want enzymes to break down proteins and protein complexes (like spunk for instance. or piss. piss and spunk stains essentially. and fat. those sort of things).
sensitive young souls like dj are allergic to such things and would like their liquids sans enzymes thankyouverymuch. -

will you cunts please fuck off to cycling plus.
washing bib shorts ffs.
-
• #38
So you're saying I need Bio, right?
-
• #39
Bio = good mouth wash?
-
• #40
Use non-bio, save the animals, or enzymes as you call them.
-
• #41
as long as it's biodegradable.
(although, dilution is the pollution solution)

Close the zips and then lock them in place.

I was just thinking what a nerdy, C+ type thread this was. :-)

A little recommendation; saw this in Sainsbury's and definitely seems to do what it says on the tin when washing man made fibres.
Halo sports wash non-bio with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ingredients.
-
• #45
Heh... I never did figure out that bio/non-bio business.

Bio makes me itchy. Thats science.
I just whack them in with the normal washing, which is usually a 40 degrees one using non-bio liquid detergent. Mind you, I use the cheap dhb long bibs, but I do the same with merino layers etc and I cannot see any harm done so far.
