Unbelievable :(
I wonder if anything will ever be done -

As with yesterday's crash, it would help if anyone who saw the lorry could describe what it looked like, any names on it, what kind of body, how many axles, how old it was, whereabouts on the road it was, etc. This information does come out at the inquest but that doen't happen for many months after the crash.

This is too sad.
Charlie, would you be happy to start a thread "What to do in case of witnessing an accident"? It would be helpful to know how we can help in case, write things down, help the victims by giving our contact details in they need witnesses etc.. Luckily I have only witnessed a small crash but having a checklist would help us keep our wits about and help properly. A bit like the first aid course.

R.I.P, this make me feel a little sick.

RIP
I always thought that the junction was quiet.
-
• #37
I always have to stop at that junction unless it's late at night, IMO it's pretty busy for a back road because of the link up at the other end with the A12 exit.

^
I live on Lauriston Road and its actually pretty busy all the time, especially during rush hour. Not sure what can be done to slow down traffic tbh. The combination of 3 bus routes and the A12 make it a pain. -
• #39
very sad news as lauriston road is part of my daily commute.

Really sad news. Reading about all these accidents today has mate me feel slightly sick. How long is it going to be untill comfortable cyclists are put off just because of the state of the traffic/roads?

This is so sad, sickening and an utter tragic waste!
This small community sees a small fragment of cycle accidents just on Londons roads and we are all upset by the frequency. i can't believe somebody in a position of power doesn't get a twang of pain hearing yet another fucking person died!
there is no end sign ahead is there. deaths at the hands of HGVs is part of london life as a cyclist..
Oh Jesus not again...
