Right, what have people got in an mtb quill stem and a rear v-brake, preffearbly cheap because its for an experiment secret new build, don't even know if it is the right size or anything

mtb quill the same as road? you dont really get 1/8 quills so i recon any will do

I asked the guy in the shop if it was the same as a road stem he said get an MTB one, so i guess theres a diff

you do get 1 1/8th quill stems on old mtbs, i know because a got french alex a new 1" quill stem for his mtb from GBH and it was too small he need a 1 1/8th one... Try GBH or Bike Boutique....

I've got a shim for 1" quill to 1.125" if anyone needs it.
