Anyone heard of a Raleigh Vegas? Found a frame for €20, but can't find anything about them online, and the guy doesn't have anu pictures up. If it's a proper Raleigh racer it could be a bargain, but according to google, this is the closest picture to it:

He described it as an adult racer with 26" wheels.

'Project' is the one that really grates with me. You're assemling a fucking bicycle, often trying to do it exactly as has been assembled before, in the case of 'period rebuilds' (shudder). You're not an NGO drilling a new well in a remote Cogolese village or a scientificationist developing some kind of new equipment with which to perform rocket surgery.

I've two projects* on the go, will post pics soon so some of you can get your own back. :-)
