My charge racer, isn't really a charge racer anymore. I've changed every component bar the frame-set, and head-set.
Having said that, i was really pretty impressed with the racer when i first got it. Brake levers weren't great, but they are on my gf's bike, and have done her ok for over 6 months. Wheels were very heavy, but solid as fuck (threads weren't great though). It came with a kmc normal linked chain, sugino messengers, charge spoon, formula sealed hubs, sugino sealed bb, sealed head-set. Fairly decent seatpost and clamp, ok bars and stem combo that i never used, and shit tyres. But all in all, i thought the components were well worth the money.
The average commuter would be able ride a standard plug for a few years without changing any components at all.
Now that my plug is all done up, it's lightish, good looking imo, and great fun to ride - almost more fun to ride than my fully custom, ruthlessly expensive steed.
