just noticed this thread, are there many physicists on fgss? ..I ask because the other night I couldnt sleep and as I lay in bed I thought lets read up on something to help me into a slumber, I chose the Universe as a random subject to read till I felt sleepy thinking this would take six or seven minutes to take affect ..fuck, I spent a couple of hours reading about the future of the Universe and various theorys about its demise, what will happen after. Then decided to look up more about the start of the Universe, big bang?, what was before?, nothing?, two Universes that collided to create ours? which lead me to read about Multiverses.. ha! I went into work very sleepy that day.
Does anyone know of any cosmology(?) books writen for the layman?
