Thanks to a shit January and February i'm left with no choice but to sell my Merckx.
As most people know, proper Merckx track frames don't come up for sale very often, and lo-pro track versions are particularly rare.My computer is also buggered so i'm gonna have to write the numbers...
six fifty front wheel, seven hundred rear.
seat tube is fifty nine centre to centre...sixty one centre to top.
top tube is sixty three actual...that's approx equivalent to a fifty eight traditional top tube.
If it helps, i'm six foot and the frame feels great to me.Spec is as follows...
Eddy Merckx track lo-pro frame with teardrop aero down tube and seat tube. italian bb threading i think.
Chris king headset
3ttt stem
Nitto 36cm track drops
Miche supertype seatpost
Flite titanium saddle
Sugino 75 chainset
Izumi super toughness chain
wheels are Phil woods with fixed/fixed rear to H+son rims.Minor scratches here and there but no dents anywhere.
I'm looking for eight hundred complete, which is less than i payed for it but probably still enough for all the know it all opinionites on here to whinge about and criticize.
If you're genuinly interested PM me...if you want to whinge and criticize...go ahead and enjoy yourself.
Cheers!Criticize, Not Cool, selling a Eddy Merckx, NOT COOL
Only Hope that goes to somebody that appreciate...:((((( -

at the risk of sounding a bit ghoulish if someone wants to buy and split i'd be interested in seatpost & headset.

If I had space to store another bike I so would.
Actually, I wouldn't... I'm flat broke. But I need excuses not to buy this because it's lush.
Hope it stays together. Nice bikes shouldn't be split.
